Been out after sch almost everyday this week in a bid to avoid all the drilling downstairs. The noise just just deafening! N poor fatty can hardly slp at home.

On an airport expedition today n fatty got a new throne- e airport's baby sitter. Super useful and fatty loves it! Think she's super overwhelmed by the swirls of colours. Sitting at e viewing mall now while fatty catches some sleep. But I have no idea why thus group of other nationality ppl wants to come n sit beside us, breaking the serenity. RAH!

Had a duper long day. 10 out of 12 periods today. RAH! At least i was taking the sec 3 classes tat i've been seeing the past few days cos the same tcher was sick. Hope she's better alr. Sick for 3 days seems quite serious. =/

Anw damn pissed at this stupid woman. Had to invigilate this sec3 class for geo test n den after that submit to this hod. So i passed to her n den she asked me if i realised e mistake in e paper. N den i was thinking like. hmm. izite tat the table heading got mistake cos e food consumption in LDCs is higher than developing cty. But i didnt say anything just asked wat e mistake was. N i was right. Den she was like "didnt u realise the mistake?" in the very demanding voice n i was so tempted to slap her, like seriously. I thght the figures cld be like that on purpose like an exception or something. Didnt want to be a smart alec plus i had nobody to check with. But didnt know e setter would make such a mistake. N the worst thing is when one tcher found out e mistake, nobody went ard the classroom to inform anybody. wtf. This is CA eh n all e tchers just ma hou pao after e paper den come point fingers. Full of shit. I cant be bothered. RAH!

tuesday with my 2 boys =)

Busy day today. Had 2 tchers on mc and 1 tcher on course, which amts to like 8 periods today? Cld have zao-ed home at 2pm like usual but i just had to have a single period at 2pm. Emo. So had duper long lunch break from like 1145am till 2pm. So fatty came to find me n we had lunch @mac together. N i think bcos e malay r fasting so e place is quite quiet. =)

Anw quite like to take 3E classes cos they r much more controllable. =X Took a non 3E class @2pm n i jus feel like strangling them. Izite so hard to stfu n do ur work? All the nonsense qns, try to bargain, stone, refuse to do, bad attitude, n e list goes on...

Fatty waited for me to end work n den we went to my aunt's place just across e road from my hse. Just so to avoid all the drilling at e void deck. It's SO LOUD i haf a splitting headache ytd. No idea y they had to redo e cement downstairs when it's all fine. Waste of money n LOTS of inconvenience. Tsk.

My 2 nephews finished sch alr so talked to them a little n stuff, n taught e p4 one chinese. It's really quite bad. I dunno wat's my cousin doing, sending him to eng tuition when it's his chinese tat nids help. lol. Anw im glad im didnt end up a pri sch tcher. Bcos i really doubt i can handle that. *faint* kids these days r SO DIFF from our time. Ha! Generation gap. =X

Had a homely dinner after watching cowboys n aliens. Anw the movie is as the title stated, cowboys n aliens. lol.

SUNDAY

u wldnt believe that we spent both wkends @dtown. oh man. watched rise of the watever ape. It's not too bad really. N though it's an older movie compared to the cowboy n alien, there's ALOT more ppl watching ape. Ha!

N since we had time before e movie, we went to e arcade. unbelievable.

n changed all these tickets for 2 tiny packets of chips n A sweet, just right for us to eat in the theatre after tat. =X

went to collect this free pokemon trading card using the voucher we got for renewing our nebo card. Super LOL!

thosai n prata for dinner before bf books in. Personally dun like thosai cos damn nua n e colour's not very appetitising. Hee!

I remove my hand from my husband's neck and place it on my lap. I look out of the window. I'm afraid i might cry. He puts his hand on mine. This time, i pull away.

"I'm sorry," he says softly.

"It's not my fault," i tell him without looking at him. But i don't believe it. I think everything is my fault. i am the woman in the family; I'm supposed to make everything work. What i can't seem to say aloud is that i'm failing.

Anw finished 2 sessions of tuition today. So accomplished! Can enjoy my thurs n fri afternoons with no more commitments already. Though it's kind of weird seeing my Sunday tutee on a wed morning. Totally made today feels like another Sunday. Hee! I kind of forget how to spell pyjamas today. Ha! Anw my second tutee however, woke me up from this illusion. Like seriously, it took him 5 min to figure out what's the ans of 10x + 4x + 4x. I think he got a shock when I increased my volume as the lsn went by. =/

TGIF! It's friday, once again! Love it when i got no relief to do, which means i only had 2 periods today. =D

anw the parade squ is covered with this really HUGE tentage with this makeshift tiny stage for the upcoming national day dinner for the public i think this coming mon. Hence morning assembly was held in e classrooms for ytd n today, which is GREAT! Cos i can stay in the staffroom and enjoy my breakfast. =p N i realise tchers in the staffroom dun bother to stand for flag raising. =X

Got an unexpected call today from moe, offering me a vacancy in nie. Which after some thoughts, decided against it. Dun think i wanna be stuck teaching or am ready for teaching yet, esp after the relief tching stint. =x

Hmm... i wonder if i nid to report to sch on mon... Shall ask my boss tmr. Too lazy to think abt sch now. =)

it's amazing how i took a nap just now from 4pm till 7.30pm, yet i still feel so tired now n have no qualms abt getting to bed.

tuesday with bf

Bf took leave today as he had been really busy with family matters for the past wkend. Hence we decided to meet up n shun bian cut hair together after i knocked off. Apparently the hairdresser that cut my hair had a much easier time since i only snipped off 1 inch from the back n trimmed my fringe, which all took less than 10 min im sure. But i reckon it's better to look like u haven cut ur hair at all than having ur fringe or hair looking too short for ur own gd aka kuku looking right. =p

Went to tamp to catch bridesmaids after that. Now i know y it's rated m18. Hmp... But apart from that, it's kind of funny. N e film is bout 2.5h long! No wonder i feel my back aching cos gv's seats isnt exactly very comfy. =X

Bf's on his way to book-in alr n im so gonna slp early tonight. So TIRED! *yawn*

Chilled out with sec sch frens today. Totally no plans for the day but nvtheless fun. Somehow we always work better without plans. Haha.

n we had zichar for dinner together. Feels kind of homely, the way u order different dishes and share together. Though ced was damn disgusting, the way he demonstrates how he licks his spoon clean. =S

Next month's gonna be a busy month for everybody alr. wen n deb's gonna start sch, joel gg enlist... Cant wait for my sch to start too. Miss being a student... Bet i wld take back my wrds when term really starts. But it's for real, at least for now. =X

Ytd was a damn draining day. Today too actually.

Anw one student jus had to spoil my mood first thing in the morning ytd n i had to send him down to the office cos he was simply beyond my control. N mind u it's a sec 4 kid, supposedly in the best class. Delegated work to the kids to do n he just have to conveniently forgot that it's a ss lsn n started doing chem work. Asked him to put it away, refused. Gave last warning, AP-ed. Ask him to stand outside the class, refused, n said that he wont listen to me. So i decided to treat him like transparent, facilitate other kids in answering qns, turned to look at him n he was busy talking. Hence, BAO! N sent him down to discipline mistress.

N guess what happened today. Apparently, the student told a diff version to the dm. Good job, u're in the wrong n u push the blame to the tcher. Checked with other tchers n wasnt surprised to know that other tchers had problems with him too. I wldnt have minded him not doing his work but it's his attitude that really got me. Even if he doesnt respect me as a tcher, im still many yrs his senior pls. What happened to moral values

Of cos, was damn apologetic for sending my boss's kids out of the class cos it's not very nice right... So explained to her what happened today when i finally see her. N she told me it's gd to be stern to control the class, but be careful not to provoke students, obviously in a really TACTFUL way. But still, i really minded actually. Im not the kind that puts ppl down when im mad nor will i sprout offensive words to agitate others, n i always make sure that i dun over-flare up n always choose to talk sense into them someway somehow. N then somebody comes along n say u shldnt provoke students. Like wthell! If contradicting/correcting students means provoking them den im probably doing that everyday. If that student uses tat kind of attitude to a tcher n i dun have e right to correct him or simply choose to ignore him, i dunno what's e pt of being a tcher anymore.

Anyway, the incident does indeed sets me thinking. If e sch doesnt trust e way i handle students/situations, den wat's the point of hiring me. It really does gets to me when ppl ask for ur help n afterwards question ur ability.

It also makes me wonder if a relief tcher shld just be somehow who's there to merely give out instructions and work to do, n not be bothered if they are actually doing their work or not, or be concerned with discipline issues. Maybe i shld just take a backseat in class from now on, not be bothered if they're really doing their work at all, n just chit chat n let time slip away with e students.

ya rite. Just whining. I dun think i can ever let that happen. Cant get over my own conscience. Anw went out to have big breakfast with my pe fren. Blissful max. Love big breakfast! =D N then it started pouring madly while we were eating. Good thing we had time to spare n wait out a little n e rain got smaller just before our lsns starts.

Had my first mini lsns with my 6 china kids today. Abit tiring but quite fun. Think my chinese getting sucky, abit stuck when im trying to translate eng geo content into chinese. Hahaha. I think lsns will be more fun when we get our own classroom. Heehee...

Anw i've survived the 3 lousy days of the week. Horray to thurs n fri!! im super slpy now alr. Shall have an early nite! =))

monday BLUES!

Today is a BAD monday. Im like so drained out now. Kickstart-ed the day with 5 consecutive periods of lsns without having my breakfast. N this sec 4 class had to make me scold them before they know how to shut up, keep away phys chem malay hw they r doing, during a HISTORY lsn. Seriously! Which part of e word history do they not understand?

Den took a 1t class, not generalising all e normal students, but this particular class drive me nuts, even when another tcher from discipline comm is taking them as well. Totally OUT OF CONTROL, i dun even know how to describe the scene. Oh man. Just pray that i wont have to stepin ever. Feel so breathless in there. RAH!

Den had to stay back for asp with one class of sec 4 students. N guess what. Everybody was LATE. Some almost 30 min late like r u kidding me. You dunno how to read clock/watch izite?! N u freaking step into my class like nobody's business?! Kids these days r such a bunch. Made them stand outside e classroom n lectured them. N this gal dare to give me a chao ah lian attitude. Such a waste of our time. Please wake up ur ideas, be gd, n i'll give u more bearable time during lsns as simple as tat.

Anw assembly today was east spring got talent. Damn funny! n the performance were not too bad. But kind of dun agree with the results. Oh well... hah

N i realised actually alot of tchers notice my presence. ha! Walked back to staffroom at 4ish 5 n at least 2 tchers who dun actually talked to me usu asked me y im still ard at this time. =X

So nice to be home! =))

Went tuition today. Happy day cos it's payday. =D

So went to expo to check out the sales gg on since my tuition place is damn near expo. The NLB book sales is damn shiok. No strength to carry so many books so bought only 5 books, which amounts to only 10 bucks. Cheap thrill! Saw ppl bringing luggage to carry lor. Kua zhang! Ha. But it's really quite worth it. =))

N check out all time fave, jl sale. Best time to stock up on cosmetics and junk food. =)) But no charles keith this time round =/

Slpt for like 10 hrs today. Damn shiok! Was supposed to meet bf at like early in e morning but he was disturbed by a call from camp that demanded everyone to report in by 10am. So poor thing. Ended up meeting bf in the afternoon.

Today is a happy happy friday since i only had 2 periods of lessons plus there werent any relief to do. WOHOO!

The only gd thing abt being a tcher is that u can leave the sch without the seccurity guards questioning. lol! went out to have mac breakfast with my pe tcher fren at 10plus. Super gd timing cos there isnt much ppl ard. =)

Anw my other fren is the phy chem tcher aka my flag raising fren. But today was his last day, so emo, nobody to talk to during flag raising nxt wk on. =/

My boss told me today tat she will be on course for 2 days nxt week which means i nid to cover ALL her lsns. And since she's the hod, she teaches ALOT of classes n all UPPER SEC. Sucks! Plus monday she nid help from me for asp(academic support prog) aka REMEDIAL after sch. Gosh. Nxt wk pls dun come... On a lighter note, TGIF!!!

Met bf after sch since he took leave for today. Wanted to catch a movie but i cant believe there's no nice movie other than harry potter which we've alr watched. Boring!

yay! i survived yet another wednesday. Really really hate wed. Though there werent any classes to relief but the no of lsns is enough to kill me alr. Imagine 5 periods straight all the way till 2pm n i nid to have lunch BEFORE 11am. Nonsense timetable. Emo.

Lessons were okay today. But sec 1s are forever noisy, just cant keep quiet for even a second. RAH! Plus after like 1 month they not scared of me anymore den will start to talk rubbish n test my limit. Tsk tsk... But they r quite sweet la. Damn concerned when i happened to look troubled/emo/worn out. =) N they like to praise my dressing. =X But really i think im the only tcher that dares to test the limit of the sch. Heehee. Since i haven got any guidebooks nor proper briefing to really know what to wear. So just act ignorant. But really im trying my best to look like a tcher but it's so hard cos i was nv the typical tcher to begin with. N now my wadrobe is only 50% wearable since all my dresses n skirts r too short/body hugging/informal according to tcher standard. =O N wearing pants drives me nuts in the heat. This wld probably be the biggest push factor in considering to become a tcher. Hah!

Anw bf took off today, not for me though. =( But anw we had lunch together and hang out abit.

1 day nearer to e wkends

Today was elearning day or home-based learning they call it, for the lower sec. Thought i could shake leg at home but my boss aka the hod said that she needs my help with the upper sec classes. And fyi i dun like them at all. =X

Reached sch n was greeted by aunty with my bombs as usual. Surprising only had 1 lsn for the day which was a gd n bad thing. Just waste time n get bored but paid for waking up early. But ended up the aunty miss out 2 other sheets, so had 3 periods for today which was good enough. =))

anw went to take over this sec 3 normal tech class today n thght it wld be a nightmare esp when i heard all the loud noises n shouting while waiting for e tcher from the previous lsn to pack up. To my surprise, they were so quiet n did their work dutifully. SHOCKED. They said that im damn fierce. Hahaha. It was eng lsn btw n i felt SO at home. Really much prefer taking language lessons when i feel that im more capable to help them.

anw, wish everyday was o lvl listening so i can knock off at 1245. =X

It's Monday blues at it's max. 

Reached sch n was greeted with many bombs. Teachers shld really take care of themselves so that they won't have to take mc. From 4 periods on a normal mon, I had 7 today instead. To make things worst, I had 5 straight periods first thing in e morning. 

N it sucks that I'm taking poa classes when I didn't even study poa before. Dun like to feel like I cnt value add them n they'll just waste their time complaining that it's too tough. I can't even judge if it's really the case or they're just lazing. I think triple poa lsns r too much to handle. I get tired of seeing them, n they get tired of looking at me. Towards e end of e lsn they got so restless n chatty but I decided to close one eye since I myself feel like slping. 

Anw I concluded that students these days really need anger management lsns. This student was doing other hw during my poa lsn n she got e nerves to slam e table. Felt like giving a tight slap I swear. N I can tell u she's not a only one I've met alr. 

Wen said that sociologists say that violence is a form if expression for ppl who cant express themselves in words. I totally agree but that's not e way to handle things ok. These kids...

Today's assembly was damn cool. This guy tcher played e ruan. Lol! So strangely familiar. =x 

N pledge today was in Chinese cos it's racial harmony week. Lol! Bet no one will know unless they're schooling. Hah

Elearning for lower sec Tmr but still need go sch take upper sec classes. Very emo =x

Lazy sunday but had to wake up early for tuition. I think im so tuned to the school timing, it's almost impossible to wake up late. Slpt at 1am but kept waking up once every hour from 6am onwards. Oh man. Haha.

Went to bf's place after tuition to watch deathly hallow part 1 before we catch the part 2 at night. Good choice! If not i wld have been quite lost throughout the show too.

Bf's parents went out for a walk n den came back with durian. *smack lips* Super yummy. But i feel like im gonna lost my voice alr. =X
