day before bday

Spend the last day of my 19 year old life at this island where u dun nid to bring ur passport, with bf. Was supposed to set off much earlier than we did but there was a light shower in the morning and we almost aborted our island getaway plan. However, drizzle stopped shortly and plan resumed, after bf , being very kindly, helped to tabao lunch to my house. =))

As usual, had to take e short boat ride from changi to the island. LOVE LOVE the boat ride! It's the best way to stay dry yet feel as though u're swimming- the drifting feeling. =) But some stupid hogger just had to stand at e tail of e boat, n so i cldnt take any pics there. EMO.

And then we we were welcomed by super alot of flags. We found out that it was dua peh gong's bday too and there's free teochew opera to watch. haha

What better way to tour the island than with 2 wheels?

Long boardwalk but really pretty. pity it's high tide so there's nth much to see.

But we saw this dead turtle. Super poor thing. The head was missing with the fibre tingling in e water. *pukes*

Met this WILD BOAR on e way. It behaves like a dog, trying to get near human and brush itself against them. But still, it's a WILD BOAR. Totally scared the hell out of me. EEKS.

Climbed up to this viewing tower after that n it sucked all e energy out of me. My legs were already aching from the cycling. Although it's a double bike but i did help to contribute okay! =X Anw the tower's probably like 8 storeys high. *pant pant* But the view's marvelous! You can actually feel the whole tower shaking slightly due to the wind.

Halfway thrgh some ulu path, bf had the craziest idea and make me be the front cyclist. I cant cycle btw. I refused but he used reverse psychology n i had no choice but to conform. Bcos the bike is quite huge and heavy, n im not exactly a pro at balancing, the bike was swaying uncontrollably in every direction, n i fyi, was screaming at e top of my lungs. N ppl coming in e opposite direction was laughing/smiling at me. So embarassing pls! But i think i got potential to be a great cyclist. =P

And then it was hours of cycling...

Before we got some rest...

We went to drink coconut, and this gal serving out quite pretty. lol. But the coconut sucks. It's probably one that has been through alot in life. Super bitter and old. =S

After that we went to catch the boat back to urban world. While waiting there was alot of ppl staring at this thing. Being very kpo, we decided to take a look. To our surprise/horror/disgust/amazement, it was a PUFFERFISH, all PUFFED UP. =/

Anw this is my bday nails- OPI katy perry's teenage dream. So pretty right! But im gonna remove it after my bday. The glitter gel is uber hard to remove hence making this nail polish only user-friendly on special occasions. TSK TSK

PART2 of the day:

Went home to shower before heading out again for dinner with the GANG.

Had dinner together at 85. Ate the oh so famous ba chor mee, had the usual stingray plus orh lua. YUMS! Evil scott left after that n the rest of us head to siglap. Damn random, but we had the udder ice cream. YUM YUM! N i think the place's damn popular! I met like 4 ppl i know there. =O

Anw there's like 30 min left of my 19 yr old life and den i'll be a new member of the BIG 2-0 club. OH GOSH!

Anw anw, really grateful that all of them turned up. Love the company and the present! =D

lazzZzZzy sunday..

Left house this afternoon, and the first thing that caught my eyes had my adrenaline rushing to every part of my body. You wouldnt have guessed who i saw! My ex discipline master and his daughter were waiting for cab across the road, and the whole time he was looking at me. Talking to him would be damn awkward so i abandon my usual practice of jaywalking and took the long way to siam him. =X Btw i know his son and his wife is a pe teacher in my primary school. The world is damn small, complicated, and intertwined. =/

Was at the train platform when i met timwei with the gf! =O Not that i haven met her, but just trying to act excited. Haha. You know sometimes you can be damn close to this person but when u meet them outside by coincidence, there's this slight awkwardness. Yup, that's right. So faster siam after some casual talk. =X

Went walk-walk as usual-to dhoby, hoping that there'll be some nice movie screening. Obviously that is not to be. After shopping the whole of plaza sing, we decided to go vivo since we haven been there for a long time. Anw cotton on kids is DAMN CUTE!

We had pastamania for dinner and the service was .... hmm... spooky. LOL! Ordering food took ages but the moment you've paid and return to your seats, the food was served PROMPTLY. We decided to time this other person as well, n her food came less than 7 min after she returned to her seats. Amazing! =O

Kind of overestimated our appetite we had to take away our 10" pizza. =X Took a walk at the boardawalk to sentosa to aid some digestion. It was real PRETTY. The lights were twinkling like stars for real. But looking at all the lights, im pretty sure the electricity bill every month amounts to thousands of dollar. =O It's a 742m walk, if i nv rmb wrongly, admission to Sentosa is 1 buck. Along the way there is a lot of places to sit down and chill, nice place for picnic and there's a pretty cool place for beer alongside. Ditch the tram the next time you're gg to Sentosa, it's not really that long a walk in. =))

Today was an awesome saturday. Haven taken time to meet them for such a long long time, especially s. I guess we are both equally free now. =X

Met felicia today after lunch and went flb together. Been ages since we been on a flea shopping together, which makes this our first flea of the year! =) All the booths seem pretty potential-rish, but seriously the crowd is too much to handle. Getting past waves of people is irksome enough, what more to browse through the clothing. Ended up with one buy for e day-a top, which i guess is pretty much a feat already. So yay! =D And on our way out, the damn nice shuttle bus uncle gave us a lift to city hall station. So nice...

Then met scott for dinner together. We had just acia, which i haven eaten for a damn long time. Food's so so but at least we get to chill with drinks and ice cream. =)) Scott's getting buffer but flabbier at e same time. lol. N he finally rid his awkward smile in pictures. =DD

We then went to shop for my birthday present. Yup, my present, with me around. Haha. Fel decided to shed her burden of thinking what to get for me by asking me what i need. So well, we ended up with slippers. Since i hardly wear slippers out, i dun have a proper slippers of which to call my own. Love my present! *wide grin* At least i know i'll have one present i love. Thanks guys!

Anw i realise my face is getting rounder. Time to workout! =( Pls date me out to exercise. Pretty pls...
