wanted to blog abt my jb trip but it's like so long ago alr... And the house's internet moves like snail after being so used to the high speed internet in the office. Had a great daytrip to jd despite all the minor hiccups and abit of holan-ing (army language of saying getting lost. lol). Lots of gd buys and wished i had more RM though i spent quite alot alr. =X Shall go there again soon with bf and frens.

It's the eve of cny eve. YAY! half day tmr but full day pay. How nice right. Hopefully i'll get pathethic no of orders tmr. So excited for cny. But come to think of it, there's isnt much thrill in it actually. Meeting relatives that i only see only once a year isnt that welcoming since we're not that close anyway. But i guess it's just lots of time to do mindless stuff, watching mindless tv progs that just seem to repeat yr after yr, eating all the same cny goodies house after house, wearing pretty clothes n hoping that it wont clash with somebody else's... But it's also time to chill out with frens, play cards till the wee hours every night. =) But my poor bf got confinement on the third day of cny. wth right. It's not like i'll see him anw but i feel shitty for him. =( But the worst worst thing of all is that he've got another confinement on the sat before valentines' day. Feel like killing that guy, heck his rank (cos i dun rmb). =((

Oh well, maybe it's just fated. *sob* In the office now doing all the stuff tat i shld be doing. haha. But i finished my work alr! =P Okay la, i shall help do some filing.

Woke up really late today! =X Work starts at 830 but i woke up at 817. heehee. Kind of jumped out of bed but dun feel like cabbing. So in the end, reached office at 930. oh well.. haha. Office like heaven now cos we're in our own room. But apparently, nxt mon onwards we need to shift to our cubicles outside the main office. SOBS... We'll be like mice running in the maze. Bye to blasting musics, shouting across to one another, slacking in e room, eating in the room, playing cards in the room... =( Hope i get a gd fengshui seat with my screen facing the wall. Hahaha. Will need to move my own desktop out tmr. Oh man!

Anw, tmr is fri alr!!! WOHOO! Cant wait for after work activity. Kind of hope it rains cos im not tat into swimming. =X SHHhh. I think it'll be fun anyway la. =)

YAY! My supervisor is on half day leave! Super slack day i like. Finished planning for my holiday trip this sat alr. DOUBLE YAY! Plus fri after work gg chill at my work fren's condo, gonna go swim/sauna/gals' talk. SUPER DUPER EXCITED. Although it's kind of weird that no one stays in the east. Gg home will be a little harder. haha. oh wells... cant wait for fri =D

Met up with the prss gang for supper ytd after so so so long. They made my day =)) Gf was supposed to come but she always MIA. haha. Apparently she overslpt. Oh well... Nxt meetup = during cny. I bet i will see them on consecutive days. =)

Blogging from work now, cos im seriously bored.... Orders have been REALLY low. Finished work in less than hour and have been surfing net for the whole day. Had an ultra long lunch break, played a few rounds of caard games and im back at my workstation now. Love love love using comp at work cos everything loads at ultra speed, which is logical, since we deal with high speed internet. =D Can do absolutely anything now except that i cant lie down to slp cos that's wat i really really feel like doing. So sleepy... Slept really late ytd now. Guess my plan to slp early always fails. But at least i did somebody a favour by sacrificing my slptime. Im sure it's a great load off her shoulders. Hope that everything goes well...

Went to find my mum after work and i got LOST. Like really lost eh, though singapore is like so small. A 30min journey ended up 3 times longer. But anyway i made it (i didnt take cab hor...) Daddy came to fetch us after mummy finished work and we head to aloha loyang. Apparently it was my 2nd's sis bf's 21st bday. Didnt want to go in the fiirst place cos i was really tired, but felt like eating bbq-ed food so i went. Food's not too bad. But not enough chair and i was standing the whole time, leaning against the back of my chair. If only bf was ard den we could sit by the sea, so nice... Cos my mum dun let me wander off by myself. *pout* Had everybody's attention the moment i stepped into the chalet. But oh well, super used to it alr. Everybody just keep staring and whispering really loudly. Have learnt to enjoy the attention. hahaha. N my sis damn act cute, wear couple tee with the bf. ha! She was showing off to me the shirt the day before. Kind of happy for her la. The bf's mum quite pretty and got wawa yin. Super friendly also. And my sis totally got the whole bf's family under control. Imagine the bf's mum came over to talk to my mum and tell her how much she like my sis. I wish i could do that too. haha. Maybe cos the bf got no sisters, all sons. Anyway was really bored the whole time cos i knew no one. Ended up playing with 2 kids. I think i can coo kids quite well. The little actually kept running away from me but in the end she came running towards me. SO CUTE! But my arms are aching today after all the carrying. hahaha. so lousy.

My heart really goes out to her. I can totally understand her pain, her despair and her direction-less-ness. I guess that's what spore's meritocracy system is turning us into->grades-conscious monsters. Im so gg to let my kids study overseas nxt time. Sigh... I'll make sure i watch over her and bombard her with my texts even if she gets irritated, cos i know what it's like to be stuck in her position. Especially since bf is not exactly the best person to look for when u want to seek comfort. Hahaha =X

I guess we'll always end up somewhere we belong no matter how bleak things seem. Have faith. =)

Been a long long time since i last did some musing. Well, life's pretty much the same. New gal came on board to join my team at work. She's quite nice but not as noisy and chatty as us. Haha. Think it'll take some time. Planned an outing after work in 2 weeks' time alr. SO VERY exciting. Gg to swim at jaime's condo after work and chill out. So cool right. Even though i dun swim, but i can always do some jacuzzi. =D

Anw i have a love-hate relationship with the internet. Just a few clicks on the mouse and i've spent like more than a hundred bucks doing online shopping. oh well... hope mummy give me pocket money to shop for cny. =X

And in 2 wks' time, bf n i will have our short getaway daytrip across the border. =D

Let me do some whining. I hate hate hate dental visits! It hurts like mad and the only good thing is i get to change my bracket colours. My teeth feels SO TIGHT now i think im dying from pain. N the dentist put some stuff on my molar to correct my bite. I know it's gd intention, but it's really affecting the way i grind my food, super obstructing. RAH! Been living on bread, mashed potato and pandan cake for the past 2 days. So poor thing. Good thing i can eat normal food now, maybe not nuts or chips yet. Hope my teeth will be gd n stay painless.

btw, adult fare sucks. i feel like staying at home 24/7.

2011

HAPPY 2011! Went for dinner with bf's life-saving frens at kenny rogers. LOVE LOVE the cheese macaroni! Dun really know his ls frens but i guess it's not that awkward la. Met sec sch frens after that. Much more comfortable surely. Countdown-ed at somewhere along the nicoll highway and the view was FANTASTIC! It's like all the fireworks are just before my eyes. CAT 1 seats definitely. But the way there and out was horrible! I see more foreign workers than locals (if u get wat i meant.) The journey home was terrible though. There's like truckload of cabs everywhere, all empty, but none willing to stop and let us up. Damn evil eh. All waiting for cab bookings. And when we called to book cabs, the line was engaged. Ended up waiting for more than 2 hours and got home only at 4+am. What a day.

01-01-2011 was mummy's bday! Got woken up by loud talking voices from outside the room. All my mummy's side relatives were at my house alr. Mummy's bday was always accompanied by lots n lots of yummy food and seeing cousins, aunts n uncles, like a prelude to cny. Haha. Daddy even bought bakwa, felt even more cny-ish. Bf was such a nice boy to help out with the cleanup, before we went out to have some time for urselves. But nowadays got no nice movies screening. So irritating.

Work has been fine. Nice ppl. Have u ever felt like u've know somebody for a lifetime even though u've actually only know them for a day? That's the kind of feeling i had. But there's always shitty ppl ard. The 2 assholes that dump their work to me n made me work to 230pm when i cld have left office at 1230. So glad im not gg to see them ever again. Most prob will have new temp coming in tmr which makes me the most senior person excluding my supervisor. Can tekan her. hahaha. But im not that evil la. A giant pile of work waiting for me in the office tmr. Dreads.

dunno why got 2 gaint blocks of dry ice in the sink den we keep playing. haha.

left: my fren is super cute. she cycles her pink bike to work every morning cos she stays nearby. N my aim everyday is to meet her on the way to work so that i dun have to walk for 10 min to get to the office every morning.

Singapore is such a boring place, there's like nothing much to do. Watching movies and shopping has become such a bore, we decided to check out the SAM museum. Main aim was to explore the "trans-cool tokyo" section but we did check out all the other parts. Feel so artistic. hahaha. =)

Spent xmas eve at scott's place again this yr. Love his house cos it's gives a super xmas-y feeling. Dinner prepared by his mum was uber yummy. And got a terrific gift from fel for gift xchange. =D
