exco reunite

I know it's a saturday but woke up early today (reluctantly) to go back to mjco. It's not exactly the best place i would want to be at, but i guess it's the company that matters. Haven seen them for ages, ced and wen excluded. There's always this rapport and bond within each committee that makes them unique in the way they handles situations together. And i guess we still do. Old feelings die hard. *evil grin* As much as we want to start things fresh on a brand new clean slate, we just tend to behave so instinctively. Hahaha. But the best part about going back is- i got my tuner back! after like 1 year? LOL!

Election's getting really fired up now. Im not exactly concerned abt it but i like to see e way they respond in interviews,the way they deliver their speeches, the poise, the confidence. Things r super drama mama today. Cant believe steve withdrew at the eleventh hour. Must be cos he shaked my hand twice that day. lol but im quite glad baey yam keng is taking over. He's so charming and charismatic. Would gladly help my dad take photos for rc events. =)) Could hear all the buzz from dunman sec this noon when i woke up. And their actions are super fast. By evening time, every road i passed, there's bound to be banners, flags and boards put up.

Had driving lesson today. 1h instead of the usual 1.5h. I think im getting better alr. =)) It's super fun and i didnt stall the car at all today. We managed to drive up to 40 instead of the 20 for the first 2 lessons which was so slow... and we got to go out to main roads instead of the ulu road behind this sort-of-deserted warehouse.

unemployed!

im officially unemployed! I know it's ironic, but i kind of miss working. I really do like my job and it has the best welfare i've ever seen in all the companies i've worked in. If not for the new people that i cant really click with, i can do this forever, not forever forever, but at least all the way till school starts. Will miss the twins for sure. Oh well, n the hr is the bestest n nicest person ever. Jokingly told him to treat me lunch on monday but he was dead serious about it. So he took me n e twins out for lunch. It's just mac but im really really touched cos he really dun have to. Had damn long lunch like 2 hours. =X Even my supervisors didnt treat lunch eh. Like wth. Helped her with so much shit and ironed out all the nonsense she threw at me please. Laiyee's the only exception, got me this really huge bar of toblerone and a cuddly bear. =))

It's officially 4 months working at this office alr! Seeing ppl come and go, i guess that's the nature of temp jobs, and now, it's finally my turn to go. 3 more days excluding today n i'll be unemployed. YAY! Finally can take a break, slp n wake up watever time i want. Kind of like my job actually but when u know it's time to go, there's no point extending any longer. I'll miss HR Don cos he's e nicest n most harmless person in e office. =X Oh ya, bet u didnt know this. I survived 3 months without repeating my clothes. So amazing! though im constantly complaining that i dun have much clothing. =P Celebrated ced's 20th bday last fri. Cant believe his 20 alr. so old eh! =X Supposed to go down for supper but we're all lazy peeps. So ended up hanging ard at home, monopoly deal-ed, chit chat, hang ard. =)) making cards 30min before meeting time =P birthday boy

Just kind of tired after all the late nights n my body feels that i deserve a break. =) Plus that ah lian nids to learn to work faster n not rely on me. Heehee. Slpt till noon-shiokness. And the rest of the time was spent on kiki. My sis was so happy to get a break. Even a mere 15min to do some groceries downstairs at the ntuc makes her delirious. Like srsly?! Okay la... I think i will get muscles soon from all the carrying. Coo-ed her and carried her for at least 3 hrs. She's a very notti gal and she can scream n cry n kick n smack ur face now.

bf's comm parade

It's quite amazing how time flies. After 10 gruelling months, bf finally commissioned and is gg to be stuck at the same camp for 1 yr thereafter. Was watching tv at home one night when i happened to catch a couple of episodes of "every singaporean boys". It was truly nostalgic, having those things that bf always describes to me every wkend translating into images right before my eyes, thinking of those times when i will send him to pr int before heading home on sundays, seeing him covered with blisters and bruises, him showing off how shiny he kiwi-ed his boots and stuff. Im glad i walked thrgh all this with him.

Sat was his comm parade n his parents were to picked me up at 4pm. But they damn kiasu, reached at 3.45pm and threw me into a frenzy cos i was still happily watching tv. Anw the car ride there was super slp inducing. Kind of fell into and out of slp throughout the journey. Reached there n suddenly realised tat heels are ur worst enemies in safti. The stairs there r like free. After an ardous journy on stilts, we finally reach the audience stand or watever u called it. Sat thrgh another hr or so before it begun. *faint* N e worst thing was e weather wasnt exactly gd, there was lots of thunders and lightnings which makes ppl quite panicky cos there's a risk of the parade being cancelled after all the wks of prac they had. Anw e parade did continue though there was a drizzle.

Proceeded for the prog after that. Parents dining with him at the dining hall while his sis n i had our own twosome time at the buffet held at the warrior's hall. Having a buffet is like o_O. Cos the q was so freaking long and we were both famished. Not only that, how long do u really nid to finished a buffet meal. So we ended up eating, chatting, HTHT, stroll while waiting for them to finish their dinner which took almost 3 HOURS. seriously! N the thing is when we try to take a stroll, every turn and bend we meet a guy on duty who says that the area is out of bound. *faints*

dinner date

Impromptu meetup with YZ after work ytd night. Had dinner @iluma, cant rmb e restaurant's name. I have no idea why she like tat place so much when e food is so so only and the waiter/waitress all weird weird one. Haha. And every single time we go there they start playing taylor swift's songs. Our meetup's like a short getaway from the reality of mundane worklife. Had bubbletea as usual before heading home. Tried eskimo today. The milk tea damn milky... Okay la.. but i figure out i dun like mini pearls cos they keep slipping away when im trying to chew. Nxt meetup when she's back from her trip. =)

@WORK Last thurs/fri was xy/wj's last day at work so we had a mini phototaking/camwhoring session in e office. As u can see there isnt much pretty backdrops available with all the tables and chairs. I'll prolly miss both of them like mad cos we 're forever chit chatting and sharing abt each others' lives in our tiny cubicle. Anw work sucks more than ever now. Imagine sharing a cubicle with a bimbo, an ah lian and an old man who tries to control everybody else( too bad it doesnt work on me). Im not being prejudiced,really. Nor am i trying to subjugate ppl. But seriously, both of them are not the type i'll ever hang out with, what more to say click together. It's quite a torment. It's actually fine to be ah lian-ish/bimbotic, but what really really really irks me is when they dunno how find solutions for their own problems. Seriously. Do i look like a wiki that can provide you with all ur ans?! I loathe ppl who just dump you with "so how?..." or simply just dump e problem over to me. You dun have to know e solution, but at least show me that u're trying to think. *rolls eyes* Other than that, i really quite like my job. If not for the ppl, i prolly have stayed till school reopens. But oh well, changing an environment once in a while can be beneficial. =) N not forgotting a gd break before e nxt job. Anw e ap pantry aunty is treating me nicer with each passing day. Hahahaha Anw, last friday being wj's last day, we went to her place after work for bbq. =) Took a while to start the fire cos we're all gals okay n only xy knows how to. Fastest bbq ever. The fire was so hot, the food was cooked in no time. Super bloated after that. N got home half past midnght.

@BABY PANCAKE'S 1 MTH BDAY TEA PARTY

Celebrated little pancake's 1 mth old bday at food for thght. Super nice n arty place but really old(er) ppl of my parents' batch and the previous batch cnt appreciate tea parties with snacks, munchies and tiny cakes. To them, it shld have been a lunch buffet held at home. So i guess the youngsters had a fairly better time there. Love the arty atmosphere. =)

Small uncle was super nice! He treated us to dinner at this something soba jap restaurant at paragoon. I guess it's probably of the recent saga, the restaurant was fairly empty. Bf was in luck (or not). Anw he came over for dinner n he got a treat from my uncle too, before he book in. The food was not too bad but the price on the menu was indeed quite intimidating.
