VISIT TO GRANDMA HSE



mum tried waking us up at 9+am but in e end i woke up at 10am
Got ready den took a cab to grandma hse..
Not much ppl ard.Onli my third aunt n uncle came.
Had steamboat lunch together..
E adults played cards(a 4 player game)
Den me n my sis stone...
Was in slpeeping mode so decided to go to my aunt hse n not wait for e ang pows that i might get if i stay linger..

Took a cab to my aunt's hse
more fun here though no ang pows
cos e ppl r those that came to my hse ytd..
Played UNO wif my nieces n newhews until e adults started their blackjack game..
Was so bored i decided to join in..
Won ard $20 at first but in e end onli won $6

Had dinner there..not steamboat
my aunt made pizzas, buddha jump over wall n lots of mouth-watering goodies..
Walked home at 9pm..



Watching tv now..
Sigh.. my throat is worst..

Woke up at 12++ today
quite late compared to e other yrs.
But experience tells me im still early.

Woke up,tidied up my bed n studying table,ironed my clothes

Was going to bathe when our first visitor came..
Finally..
As usual..
my mum's godson n e family
Had my lunch den started doing my hw..
Was so bored..



More ppl started coming at 3++pm
after i finshed my emaths hw..
my nieces n nephews from my dad's side came..
always thght they were my cousins until a couple of yrs back
haha.

Together we played UNO.. for quite long..
Den we Talk, talk, talk...



my cousin came while we were playing.. She changed alot..
as in in e gd way. very pretty
den my mum was teasing her..

By 8+pm, everyone left already

Used to haf ppl ard at 3am but now..

a rat was found in my hse
right under e computer..
me n my sisters dashed to e kitchen n left my parents in e living room
for e task of chasing e rat out..
Within 10 mins, e rat was gone.
but now got phoebia.
gives me goosebumps..

den had co practice all e way till we performed at e hall

After sch e DA family (not everyone though) went to watch inotstupidtoo
our seats got separated into 3 different rows.
but eventually most of us went to sit in front in e midst of e movie.
e movie SO touching..
make me cry from e middle part all e way to e end..
tried to hold myself back
but e tears just gushed out..
Den realised deb also crying.

Went home after e movies straight, thinking that my mum will cook lunch..

Woke up at 6am this morning, preparing to go to sch.
But realised my left eye was swollen when im brushing my teeth..
was so swollen my double eyelid became single
Told my mum abt it den she say take me see doc later
so when back to slp.but very hard to fall back to slp after i woke up..
So sms ppl a while den fall aslp again.



Woken up at 10++ by my mum to see doc..
Felt like continue slping but my mum say if i dun wake up now
she will make me see e doc by myself.
so forced myself to wake up,wash up
den we were on our way to e doc



It was SUPER crowded
Waited for 1h 30 min before it was my turn..
went to my family doc.
Haf been ages since i last seen him.
Cldnt rmb his look but i can always rmb e way he writes.
Holding e pen btwn his 2nd n 3rd finger.
He haf been my doc for more than 10yrs already
He told me e first time i came to see him when i was 2 yrs old was also becos my eye was swollen.



Anyway..
he said my swollen eye was due to:
1.Lack of slp
2.Lack of water
3. Allergy



I sort of agree to his conclusion..Cos slpt realli little during e camp. Din drink much plain water either. Drank less than 300ml at e 3days long camp..



Went to buy lunch at e coffeeshop n den i started doing my tuition hw..
Finished my E maths already..Still haf A maths..



Sch ended already. Still nid to write chinese essay..

Came home from camp ytd n slept onli at 12++..
Woken by my mum reminding me to wake up in time for my co n it was onli 7+ den..
Check my hp for msgs den saw deb's..
so rpy den went back to slp..
den she rpy-ed i open my eyes rpy den go back to slp..
Slp-Msging.
In e end woke up at 10.20 cos meeting them for lunch so no choice but to wake up.
Told deb i wld be late she say she will wait for me..
Woke up den i sit up on my bed den started stone-ing. Dunno y also
Haha.
Hurry wash up den get ready.But no use.Still late.Now owe deb 30min..



E 4 of us went to eat at e hawker centre near our sch..Den e 2 of them left for sch first to help out.Deb n i slowly eat den make our way to sch..
Had Co at e ava room.Finally rmb all e parts i forgotten how to play in mei gui hua..

Time passed quite fast in co today.



After co den took some time tinking whether to go jess chalet not.Eventually i din go.my mum was saying that i just came home from camp den want still want go chalet..



So went to look for my mum at my uncle's clinic..Went in then realised there was no one.Been a long time since i went to his clinic..Used to watch him treat his patients when i was young.. Then his last patient finally came den after that we went off together in his car..
He was asking me wat's my goal in life,wat i wanna be or do in e future.
i told him i wanna be a gynae or children doc..
Actually i nv thought of being a doc but somehow i felt like being a gynae or children doc
He told me that a doc is not an easy job.
As a doc, he told me it's hard to be a doc n even harder to be a great doc.
It means sacrificing ur time n to know how to interact wif ppl..
He said a child doc is even harder cos a baby wld nv tell e doc which part of him is unwell.
It really sets me tinking..
Felt so stressed thinking abt my future.
Kind of relieved to know that e car journey from changi to tamp mall is quite near.
He recommend me to be a skin specialist..
Hmm..

BACK FROM CAMP!!!



3 days 2 nights passed really fast.






day 1

Got on e bus and was divided into 2 grps. Was in grp 13.Reached e campsite den all e sec 3s assembled and den we were brought to our bunks. There were a total of 4 bunks for e girls. And e bunks ard e campsite look almost e same. Often got lost n opened e wrong doors of e bunk. Very blur..haha
Den very soon it was time for our first meal.E most torturing n terrible meal i ever had.Wat a way to welcome us.We were to eat with our bare hands with strings to the people sitting by ur sides. Were asked to wash our hands after we were all tied to one another n we had to wash our hands together. Very hard to eat wif hands tied cos u can onli eat wif one hand.
After that we started our activities.Asked to change into trackpants n den report.Just finished changing n got to my bunk, we were asked to change into shorts n old shoes cos our first activity was kayaking.
Reached e place n had a briefing on what we r supposed to do.But e waves were very strong n we had lil time.So in e end we cld onli enjoy e sea wif e life vest on,we were asked to lie backwards. My shoes were so wet n sandy by then.Washed up b4 we moved on to our nxt activity which was rafting.Another wet activity.Wasn't wearing socks n e sand filled up my shoes making them so tight.Tried to remove it den e back of my two legs got cut by e sands.
The second activity require us to tink of a way to build a raft n carry as mani ppl on it as possible out on e sea..Tried for a long time but we din succeed.
Changed into trackpants for e rock climbing after that.Weather was bad.Cant rock climb outside so used e indoor ones.
Had dinner after that.Den we proceed to play tis game called blindman's walk. We haf to close our eyes n follow e person in front. Somehow while walking e person behind me let go.After that i was also brought to a corner..Den e another grp haf to listen to someone's command n find e ppl stranded at some corners.
Had this tok by Melvin after that..Telling us his life story n stuff. E weather was super cold n we were all freezing.
Supper after that den debriefing b4 we were dismissed n can go bathe.Water was so cold wif e shower head so high up on e celling.
Cldnt slp wif my hair so wet so me n deb chatted or rather whispered to each other cos mani ppl were trying to slp.Entertained each other.Lay on e "bed" den can felt a very strong vibration.haha.cos can feel e snoring of some ppl..After some time.we both finally fell aslp.

day 2
Was woken up at 5am..Cldnt slp cos it was SO cold n e floor was so hard. So sat up at stone..Den tink i accidently hit deb den she woke up. Anyway went to wash up rather early.Den got prepared for e day.Din some weird morning exercise den had bee hoon for breakfast which was super dry..Den danial asked me ask my milo into e food. heex
It was a RAINY day.Rained e whole day on n off.Cldnt carry out any activities so we did teaming building games first. E pair sit-up were HARD. Tried very long wif deb but we just cldnt get up..Think cos i not enuff strength to lift her..In e end we became e last pair den everyone surround us so paiseh..But in e end we succeed.Never Give Up In Life.
Played e human knots as well.We're like dead knots.Tried numerous time but still cant work.But we manage to succeed in e human chair.
Had lunch under e shelter.Den e remaining time was all for e campfire practices.
E campfire was super high.With cheering n dancing n singing.. Ended quite early. Had debriefing den went to bathe at e toilet wif heaters,had to wait very long though.
Was super tired. Fell asleep very early..



day 3



Woke up at 6am by e noisy aeroplanes..Tried to wake deb up but i tink she very tired.So in e end she woke up at 6.20am den we went to wash up.Did morning exercise den had noodles for breakfast which is equally dry.Den we started to do cleanup.Our grp was assigned to clean up e t-chers' bunks.Did reflection after that.Had our final debriefing before we board e bus n head for sch.
After we were dismissed, went to eat at Long John n chatted n played some games.
Left at 3+ n reached home at 4.

RAINY DAYS



what a rainy day..Rained e whole day.Dunno wat's wif my phone.Keep restarting by itself. Dropped my phone alot of times this wk.. sighh. what's wif me



Went to e tamp cc early in e morning cos mine is white paper that means e first session of e edusave presentation.



waited for e bus wif my mum for a long time.Den my mum wanted to take cab but i stopped her cos still early.Suddenly a cab stopped in front of us den e door opened.Saw mrs kang inside den ask us to go in cos we gg same destination.Tink she's on duty at e cc.Mrs kang is my dad's fren. Her son's my ex-classmate n she was once my kindergarden t-cher..So from young i've been calling her mrs kang..Very formal..Not aunty.haha



Den went to look for my dad cos he also on duty..den went to register.Must take this sticker wif ur name printed n paste it on ur uniform.Walk ard very tired so we went up to e hall..Just got out of e lift den i suddenly thght of looking at my sticker den realised is e wrong one..haha..cos my full name very long den e sticker's like very short..Met mrs kang at e lift den tell her..Went to change my sticker together den mrs kang "scold" them..haha.. Say wat how can give lim's daughter e wrong tag..Very funny..



Waited n waited in e hall. Sat at e chair den nothing to do so played golf in my phone for very long.Air-con was so strong.Was freezing already.Finally started.The atmosphere was as cold as e weather..Nobody bothered to clap cos got alot of ppl.E session eneded quite fast.When e second session ppl came n first session ppl go out,there was a big jam at e door n everywhere.My mother n i use e stairs where i tink not mani ppl now abt..



Went to look for my dad. Den he make me take pic of all e counters..So paiseh cos i dun tink they know me den they wld tink im some mad student dunno take their pics for wat.
so anyhow take den go off for brunch wif my mum..



Ate at e food court.After that went popular.
Still NO stock for chem txtbk at tamp..
ARGHH



Reached home n felt so tired..Wanted to do my mindmap but my mind was like floating.
Went to lie on e bed to rest my eye for a tiny while but who knows i fell asleep.But cld feel my dad covering me up wif blanket.haha



Woke up at 6+pm.Felt much more charged den finished up my hw before i had dinner..
Came online after that. A dragonfly just invaded e living room..



My sis wants me to collect e xbox on tue.So sian so far..Anyone wants to acc me..haha

E day started with very heavy rain.Weather so shiok for sleeping but too bad i cant.Forced myself to wake up.



Nearly missed e bus 2dae den took an mrt to meet deb at bedok mrt station.



Not late 2dae.haha.



Den had e cocm meeting at e 3A1 classroom. Very serious topics.haha
After that we help out with e banners flyers n stuff for e cca open hse on monday..



Went straight to my grandma hse at 6+pm from school.Actually i'm not very sure of e stop to alight.Had been ages since i've been to my grandma hse.Fortunately i still agar agar den finally reached my grandma hse..She ordered buffect 2dae n invite some relatives to eat.



Went there den all my uncles n aunts chatting so loudly..abt their childhood,kampong life n stuff..So boring den i just sit theren daydream.haha.cos too paiseh to eat.



In e end realli very hungry den i started eating.Din realise two of my cousins were in e rm.They've grown so much..SO jealous..haha



den e adults started playing cards. left me with two kids to look after. It's quite fun at first but when they keep "jie jie"-ing me..i realli get quite tired..But i did haf fun with them. They r so cute.. Fianlly took a cab home at 9+pm. Den took this cab e driver so fan.Keep talking non-stop.Cant listen to e radio in peace.

Higher chinese lsnn was super entertaining..
e way mr hoo speaks very funny but very chim also
he can speak continously for hr without stopping.

Den cut e cake n stuff..after that we went to e hawker centre den they bought e chin chow den some had dnner there. Went home after that..Waited my bus for super long..

was on e bus when it started raining heavily.den haf to walk very fast to get shelter.
In e end my books all wet.But when i reached home e rain stopped.Almost immediately..Ytd also..ARGHH

Feel so stressed during higher chinese.4 new students.
