So the bf decided to leave camp at night to have a dinner date with me since we wanted to utilise our last groupon deal that we didn't the previous time. 

Final Verdict: MISS
Compared to the previous time we went, service wasn't as good. We waited so long for the food because the waitress forgotten and she wasn't apologetic one bit.
Ordered half instead of quarter chicken so we had a drumstick and breast meat. Breast meat was significantly drier, it's so hard to swallow.
Mac n cheese was the same as the previous time- not to my taste
Tried a new side- potato salad which was really sour. The waitress had to warn us that it's sour in case we complain that it's spoilt. So, now you know how the salad tastes. We completely didn't touch that side at all

I probably wouldn't go again unless it's for the quarter chicken.

bday treats

I have such sweet classmates. Even though they didn't realised that my bday on its actual day. They immediately make it up with sweet treats the following day. I really wasn't expecting anything. And J also treated me tea latte from starbucks. Really, we only knew each other for like less than 5 months?!

How nice :)

woes of a babysitter

Babysitting this little girl for less than 2 hours is harder than you think!

Things started out well when she knew that her mum was gg to have a short meeting to discuss stuff and that she will be will her beloved ah yi.

She understood, said bye to her mummy and promise to listen to me.

-30min later-

Attempting to shop like usual while carrying a 10kg load is not working. 

Arms, back, shoulders aching.

Backup plan- toy department at taka to disturb her

-1.5h later-

Starting to be restless, her and me. 

Looking tired and is really tired, her and me.

Decide to be nice and carry her so that she could catch a wink.

She went berserk. 

Calling out "dun want ah yi"

And everybody else ard was staring me as if i am a kidnapper.

*RAHHH*

-lots of coaxing-

-met mummy and had her fill of milk-

she decides that she loves me again

birdy date

Well, it was supposed to be my 'birthday' since e boy was having reservists and couldnt plan a decent date for me. Just judging from our attire, it probably looks like an indoor day and we expected so. But the thought of shopping around town, there's really nothing exciting or special like that. Plus since we could get a lift to the other side of spore, why not? So we caught a lift from fatty's parents and went Jurong Bird Park!

The first time in my entire life. Yes, FIRST! Because I really hate birds. Their unpredictability to drop golds from the sky while on the move. Tsk. But it's 1-for-1! A real steal!

Cant possibly miss the usual bird shows. Wasn't that crowded despite it being a public holiday. Prolly because it rained in the morning. The ground was a little wet still when we were there.

Birds and MORE birds. No zoom at all! It's that close-up.

Just going to smoke my way through next week's tutorial.

school

Well, it's officially the end of Semester 2 Week 1! HURRAY!

Was supposedly looking forward to school but now all that excitement is GONE! POOF!
I officially have 3 weeks to finish 3 essays that equates to more than 6000 words, ALOT of readings to do, and ALOT of movies to watch! I think after this sem I'm never able to watch movies brainlessly ever!

*faints*

Sunny Sunday

Had lunch with le boy's parents at bedok food centre before we went out. The plan was supposedly to visit Sentosa but by the time we finished lunch it was already mid-afternoon. So ended up heading to town instead. I must say his parents are a lot more innovative than him. They suggested dropping us off at Dempsey to hang out abit first before heading to town. And we did.

And it was so SO coincidental that fatty and parents were going there to check out the flea there too (pandora's market). So we hang out abit with fatty before we got a lift from them to town. 

The weather is SO INSANE and we were all soaked in perspiration. Not kidding.

Went to his house after that and the mum left two bowls of bird nest in the fridge for us. 

So nice to have kept a bowl for me

Nike She Run 2013

Just a random passing remark and ended up joining this year's Nike run with my 2 classmates. 

Was drizzling hours before the run so it was quite a good weather to run in. Great run but just a little annoyed with the numerous bottlenecks at the start. 

Limited photos for now as most of them were taken with my friend's iphone.

But I swear the scenery was so good, people in the midst of their run actually stopped to capture a few shots (me too!). Too pretty!

Celebrated mothers' day one week in advance and had a Popiah and mee siam party at grandma's place. My mum sure can cook. Wish I had half her skills. Hahaha
