TERACOTTA WARRIORS

Went to visit the ACM today. N it sure feels different to be gg to a museum when u're a history teacher and all the things you see are so relevant to what u're teaching in school. =o Well, our main aim was the terracotta warriors. Nv knew bin ma yong was called terracotta in english. =p

Btw it was SUPER crowded with locals n vistors.

Was greeted by a series of modern interpretation of tradtional warriors. Quite funny. Like the guanyin lookalike holding a laptop, warriors al wearing earpiece etc.

It's amazing what technology can do. They actually have this acm app you can dl n it provides a 3d view when u point ur cam at specific symbols ard the museum. N u can follow the animation n go thrgh the story of what actually happens. So incredible right! N fyi ALOT of ppl were using it, really tells u how many ppl in the world's actually using iphone.

this carriage is the only replica in the museum as it was too fragile to be flown over from china.

These soldiers walk from one end to another to demo how they use the bow n arrow!

n then u can go ard n collect all the stamp emboss. So adorable!

this status is SO elaborate u can actually see the braids so intricate n there is a red rope tying the bun. =o

The warriors now r more miniature as they think it's more practical. Anw the warriors were made to be buried with the emperor as they believe that what they buried with them will be their assets in hell to use/spend

at the entrance there's 2 warriors where u can fix up e pieces on them. haha

Was so hungry after that we decided to go eat the nice bakuteh near clarke quay since it was just round the corner. SO YUMMY EH! n bf said tat youtiao is nice with bkt. i was like @.@

Walked ard after that n all the HUGE lanterns were up alr! Bf was like nagging at me cos i wore sandals n then we cldnt go to helipad. But it's okay la. wasnt in much of a drinking mood cos got tuition to teach tmr morning. =X But e place's really pretty, wld definitely go one of these days. =p

Trained back to tamp after that n i seriously cldnt believe my luck. I met my ex n he was standing right behind me on the escalator. I saw him looking at me but i jus looked away. So ungracious right. =X Seriously, im over it, but i just cldnt bring myself to say hi. Maybe someday...

Then met ced at cs n he gave me a shock when he popped out from nowhere. But what's that shock compared to the one before right. lol.

Then then i met my ex bf as in bestfren. Totally felt like killing myself. N he still introduced me to his gf. That's akin to giving me a stab at the back ok.

Anw, bf told me that they'll be gg on a cruise for cny next yr since they're not supposed to celebrate cny. N his mum actually asked if i want to tag along. =D I wont be gg of cos but that's not e point right... Hee...

Oh well, what an eventful day... Shall rest early. Tuition tmr....
